A pinch of soul and a dash of precision
Owned and operated by Cedric Griffin and Jerome Faulkner, J. Leonardi’s Barbeque had its grand opening back in December of 2016. The J stands for Jerome and Leonard is Cedric’s middle name.
Jerome learned to smoke barbeque from his uncle and while cooking for his grandmother. He and his partner have been friends for years, doing what they love to do and realizing their passion through food. To create that authentic Southern flavor, they use fresh ingredients and high-quality grills and smokers to produce the best combination of tastiness and tenderness.
While J. Leonardi’s Barbeque is known for its variety of Texas-style BBQ by the pound, options such as sausage, chicken, turkey, assorted ribs, sandwiches, and brisket are also offered. Then, there are sides such as potato salad, jalapeño corn with turkey, pinto beans with brisket, smoked cabbage, and more – all of which add that extra zest to each dish. And let’s not forget about the desserts – banana pudding and peach cobbler – YUM!
